Civics             Civics is the study of the rights, duties and responsibilities of citizens. A citizen is someone who pledges allegiance to a nation and citizenship is the duties they have towards the nation. A citizen has duties, things that are required to do, that they need to fulfill. Duties are required by local, state and national governments and if they are not completed there are consequences: fines and imprisonment. The five duties a citizen is required to fulfill are to obey the law, pay taxes, defend the nation, serve in court and serve in school. It is required to pay taxes so there is money for infrastructure and other public services.              Responsibilities, on the other hand, are things you should do as a citizen but are not required. Economic Incentives              Incentives are used in a lot of aspects of life. An incentive is something that motivates someone to act a certain way, shop a certain way and sometimes even act a certain way. It is commonly used in the workforce to get employees to act adequately or according to the employers regulations.               There are two types of incentives, however, they both serve the same purpose. The first type of incentive is Monetary Incentive. This type of incentive rewards someone for a desired action with money. For example, an employee can offer an employer with a cash bonus, stock options, profit-sharing, etc. The other type of incentive is a non monetary incentive; these are incentives that do not involve money but rather bonuses and opportunities.
