Economic Incentives
Incentives are used in a lot of aspects of life. An incentive is something that motivates someone to act a certain way, shop a certain way and sometimes even act a certain way. It is commonly used in the workforce to get employees to act adequately or according to the employers regulations.
There are two types of incentives, however, they both serve the same purpose. The first type of incentive is Monetary Incentive. This type of incentive rewards someone for a desired action with money. For example, an employee can offer an employer with a cash bonus, stock options, profit-sharing, etc. The other type of incentive is a non monetary incentive; these are incentives that do not involve money but rather bonuses and opportunities.
